The focus of this role was to work within the Aptiv polymer films department to conduct routine testing of a vast variety of film thicknesses, including recording test results through Microsoft Dynamics AX, and inputting turnarounds into a KPI spreadsheet. I was pleased to be able to influence Victrex’s continuous improvement programme by supporting Production, Technical and Product Development teams with requests for investigative analysis tests of new trial material, and similarly I participated in testing trial material for release of potential new film products.
